The firm's CEO and Principal is a recognized expert in large-scale facility design with over 29 years of experience across diverse industries. After pursuing his engineering degree, William studied finance at Cal State Long Beach while simultaneously beginning his career designing oil and gas facilities, later contributing to microelectronic facility designs with Jacobs Engineering.

 

In 1996, Mr. Bethurum founded Industrial Power Engineering Corp., now Volta US. Noteworthy projects include a $90M wastewater treatment facility for the City of Surprise and a 5-story mission-critical facility in Phoenix. His extensive clientele includes Motorola, Arco, TRW, Mobil, Southern California Gas Co., Maricopa County, Shutterfly, and more.

 

A registered electrical engineer in multiple states, Mr. Bethurum is affiliated with professional engineering societies. Beyond work, he is a lifelong LA Dodgers fan, enjoys architectural design, running, strength training, and golf, and shares his home with a Yellow Lab, Baz.
