What You’ll Do


Our expanding consulting firm is in search of a Manager of Electrical Engineering. We are seeking someone who is proficient in designing electrical systems for buildings and facilities. This includes expertise in power distribution, lighting, life safety systems, instrumentation, and controls. The role involves conducting comprehensive electrical analyses, encompassing short circuit, load calculations, time-current coordination, and related calculations using ETAP.


As a leader in the firm, this position will have to coordinate with other disciplines, utilities, and owners as well as manage engineers and technical designers. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a PE registration in electrical (Arizona preferred but not required), and 3+ years of experience in the field. Experience with industrial and mission critical facilities is a plus.


  • Complete Project Engineer Level Review on all outbound deliverables.  

  • Multitasking several different projects of different scales and electrical needs.

  • Maintain and implement Volta standards and processes with Technical Team modeling and emphasizing the clients journey.

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team helping them grow in their technical skills.

  • Organize, plan, and deliver Lunch and Learn sessions by selecting relevant content, handling logistics, encouraging participation, and fostering an engaging learning atmosphere.

  • Examine project plans, drawings, and documentation to identify potential risks, technical issues, and opportunities for improvement.
